Thanks for the heads up LAF, I'll take a closer look at those instructions to be sure. I was under the impression that the quick learn procedure was for when you were in regular D/Drive mode, not the Autostick/Manual Shift mode. I can't really see how the computer can learn the tranny for Autostick since it really only has control for up shifting and not down shifting. At any rate, I'm going to try and find a quiet stretch of road where I can do the tranny learning on it today.

just a side note, while reading the service manual, yes the cluster is " a smart cluster" and stores lotso info, and it's not recomended that you swap cluster from another vehicle either....some stuff is abs, air bags, immobiler key etc....
