CAL, I guess what you are saying is that stage 2 or stage 3 will be Ok with 2.5"! I know that stage 2 is is optimized for a 2.5" catback system but I dont know about stage 3 which may require a bigger down pipe I just dont know!!

put it this way, you can't go too big, a 3" will perform at the same level as 2.5 for stage 2 but will offer you more room to grow.

Actually Circumference=Diameter x Pi. If the circumference is 3" and Pi is 3.1417, the diameter would be 0.955 inches.

yeah, messed up. half inch would be the radius, not the diameter.
