Really stupid prolly.

But, if the S1 kit for the 04 turbo is just the PCM. If you got one from "other than honest" means and installed it how would they know.

Would the computer tell them "Hey I'm stage 1 mofo"

The S1 computer needs to have your vin # in it. Chrysler would have to put it in. You can't just get a S1 computer and install it.

It would probably work, but it would trip the MIL without the VIN and mileage programmed into it.

As I understand it, when installing a Stage II kit it will necessary to remove (replace) the Stage I items. Sounds like we won't be able to sell our Stage I kit to another GT owner? [:I]
