Default What the heck is Quick Learn??

Yeah, a total newb question but I have no idea what this is about. If I go Stage I, which I plan on doing sometime in the next few months, am I to understand that I have teach my auto trans how to shift again? Would appreciate someone turning on this dim bulb over my head!

The instructions for stg I include the learning procedure. Not a big deal, but it must be done. (Automatics only)

when I had my stage 1 installed, they hooked my car up a transmission computer and did the quick-learn without even taking the car out of the shop so when I picked it up, I could throttle that baby all I wanted!
