Default Gas Mileage with Stage 1

[]How is everyone doing on their gas mileage since installing Stage 1?? I know, I know, we put it on for the fun and performance of the thing, but a little better gas mileage (if I can keep away the "old leadfoot") would be a plus. That would help pay for the premium gas. Some guys say they have improved the MPG a bit. Just installed mine and I'm hoping...........[][][]

My mileage increased NOTICEABLY after installation of stage 1--i.e., anywhere from 10 - 30% improvement (but averaging about 22% now).

I used to get about 19-20 mpg, but now I consistently get 22 - 25 mpg without babying it.

I have a 5-speed, but I would guess that improvement in an autostick would be similar.

The best gas booster I have right now is the plug and wire set from Sparkplugs.com. I have been driving like a good little boy for the last too weeks. I usually filler up on Monday morning and by Fiday I am between the half M/T and 1/4 mark. Now it is just getting to cover the half tank mark. I am loving it...

i installed stage 1 about 3 weeks ago, and am still "testing" it surprisingly during this "testing" period i am getting better gas milage than i was getting when driving conservativly with the stock system. If i ever start driving normally again, i wouldn't be surprised to see 3-4 MPG gains in the city an 5-6 on the highway

Had my Stage 1 about three weeks now. Last week thought I would be real good--no heavy foot. Drove 190 miles, mixed town and interstate driving (70-75mph), got 26.4 mpg--I'M IMPRESSED!![8D][8D]

Hmmm - maybe it's just my heavy foot, but I haven't gotten better mileage yet - worse if anything. S1 is fun, though. I do tend to drive more in 'manual' ATX mode now.[8)]
