Default How many are ready to tell Chrysler to stick it

If the rumored price and trade PCM trade in are true,
Lets let them know how we feel, they already saw how many were ready to buy, lets see how many are ready to find HP other ways,
Tom

saki,
Don't even get me started on THAT, or the other horn, or the fold away mirrors, or the heated mirrors that my '02 Touring had, I guess I'm lucky I grabbed my cargo net when I traded it in, too bad I didn't strip the other stuff off.

Oh yeah, I've been stayin away from the swaybar thing. But, I'm feelin fired up tonight.

All you that bought an 04 have a rear sway bar that makes your car handle EXACTLY the same as as 03. It's a more efficient design for 04, with the bar inside the rear axle. If you could cut an 03 and 04 rear axle apart, you could see what I mean.

For all you that got an 03 bar on your 04, congrats. Now it handles pretty close to what a sports car should.

I think everyone is jumping the gun a bit.

Let's all take a pill........here....I'm going to have several beers.I suggest everyone do the same........with a designated driver or taxi, of course!

3bar,
Again not attacking you, but what about the guys and gals, I love that phrase, that bought an '03 that says it should have the bar, shows the bar in the factory service manual, drove an '02 for over a year and can feel the differance?
Tom

Don't you mean an 02? My 03 does not have an external sway bar? And, was told that our 03's have an internal swaybar. WTF?

Or, what is the difference between a DCX bean counter (who affects product final release configuration) and a catfish?

One is a scum-sucking bottom feeder, and the other is a fish...

Coming from a family, who each surviving member is still driving a Chrysler product - I bought 2 new ones in a row (2002 and 2003 PT) - Brother bought 2 new ones in a row (1984 and 1996 T&C)- mother bought new 1998 Concorde LXI - None of us will likely own another Chrysler product again after these last ones.

The funny thing about driving a car is that you have to be able to sit down to drive. When the southward pointing orifice is in constant pain from the last enlargement process carried out by the dealer, (or mothership), you find yourself in a position of not being able to assume the position needed to drive.

In other words, Drive=Love takes on an entirely different meaning when the loving part is from behind with a lot of sand for effect.....

Also, there is no way of favorably comparing the handling of a 2003 (with new duties assigned to the watts linkage) and a 2002 PT TE with the sway bar that the car was designed to have.

Anyone who can explain away that by increasing engine performance and reduce suspension stability we are driving a safer car is someone we all should stay away from. They could just as easily explain a lot of other mysteries with the same truth index; somewhere approaching 0% from the negative side.....

Too bad Safety isn't a concern of DCX. Anyone who wants verification of this, look into the lawsuit filed by parents who lost a child due to a airbag. DCX sued the parents into bankruptcy to prevent the parents from prevailing in the suit agains DCX. I guess it is the European influence. After all, they got what they wanted; a distribution network for Benz in the US. Chrysler is going the way of Plymouth; the first casualty of the "D" guys. At present course and rate of descent, it can't be too much longer now.....

I feel for the honest guys and gals working with the company. Looks like they will end up on the street with ulcers, acid reflux and Timex. For their retirement, they can look forward to belching and winding their watch.....

As far as Stage II - anyone who is willing to put 1000.00 into a PCM and 600.00 into 3 switches and a windshield washer pump, hoses and nozzle should get a warm-fuzzy knowing they advanced the rate of inflation by nearly a decade.... At this rate, we can look forward to putting a Hershey Bar on layaway; with hopes of paying it off in a few months.
