Ok, that is for the srt-4, so now what is it for the PT GT?
PTCB

Its 265HP and 280ftlbs of torque for the GT also, its always been that.

Did they change the Mopar web site again? I checked today and could not even get SII to pull up, it defaulted to SI?

The torque output is the same and this is good.
I believe that SII will work extremly well with additional mods, I'm just not sure it is worth the $$$$ they are asking for it.
As 3bar pointed out with SI, there was more to the kit than just a power increase:
The Meat=
SI= Increased WOT and Part Throttle Boost.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Enhanced 1st gear boost schedule for higher performance launch.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Optimized calibration for the MP BOV.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Improved turbo response
SII? Same as SI?
SI= Boost hold feature during WOT shifts.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Soft rev limiter.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Performance optimized transmission calibration.
SII? SAME AS SI?

If there are significant improvments over SI in the above calibrations then I would say it would be worth it! If not? SRT/PVO, 3bar can you enlighten us with real #'s? What are we really getting????
Thanks
This is what I asked and received no answer.98NeonDriver only listed what SRT-4 SII description was. The PT GT is not an SRT-4. I can read the Mopar web site.

What keeps cracking me up is, if we are going to make the same HP without the toys as the SRT kit with the toys, then why do we need them???

IMHO, I think the 250 HP is the correct one for the PT, with out toys.

It sound strange to make a kit with toys to "Improve performance" and get the same rating as the kit without them...[:I]

Look at the S1 nubers and you will see the same trend... We got short changed also when it came out compared to the SRT, and payed more If it was an auto-stick...

Just Two Cents.

If you look at the SRT HP Graph, there are 3 plots there, each one is well above the 250 line. We should hit 265 with no problem.

Actually, in the Mopar catalog it says with race gas the SRT 4 will put out 280 hp and 300 ft/lbs torque so the toys do account for higher hp and torque numbers.

torque is not only for low gear and hp is not only for high gear. if your car goes from 6200rpm to 4500rpm on a shift you will use both hp and torque in all gears. these cars are still building good torque @ 4500rpm and good hp higher. if you shot shift in to second you would use the 280 ft/lb of torque much better than the 265hp.
