More disconnects on the site than just that macster. Link says 265 bhp in little pop-up, page says 250 bhp for PT Stage 2.

Keeping in mind PCM trade-in is total RUMOUR, and Turbo Toys is OPTIONAL for SRT owners.

Either way, changing the power rating is news to me. I'll see if I can talk to TurboG and find out what's up.
as always...thanks for the help & input...I can't speak for everyone...but it's greatly appreciated on my part anyways...I held off Stage I for Stage II...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look again, Mike. Those numbers are for the SRT-4
Jeremy, I took those numbers right from the page I linked to and it isn't for the SRT-4. As 3barboost mentions there are some discrepancies on that website and I should have looked at the other pages. Of course, I would have been as confused then as I am now! As it is, I'll wait for 3bar to have his little chat with TurboG and sort this all out for us. In the meantime, I'll be taking delivery of S1 tomorrow and slapping that bad boy on in the next couple of days. Already have the BTG cat/back duals and am deciding on how to handle the intake. I don't plan on racing and just can't justify the cost/performance ratio for S2 right now so I'll be happy. Still, the discussion(s) is(are) interesting.

We can cover the intakes. You want em, I got em. K&N Typhoon (used) Airaid (new) in the box. But I'm using a Brand-X up pipe with the stock airbox and a drop-in K&N filter and thats the one I recommend. It beats the others hands down, but..... if you want to $$$ one of these off my hands, drop me a line.

macster, rice killer, I appreciate the offers but I think I've pretty well decided on macster's suggestion of the brand-x pipe (my other post was perhaps misleading in that regard...I've posted elsewhere) with a K&N drop in for the stock box. I already have the K&N drop in but just haven't ordered the brand-x pipe. My head as been sort of spinning lately with mods, planned mods, etc. I'll be adding a rear spoiler and Stull billet beltline kit in the very near future, not to mention S1 in the next couple of days, just did the GoldLines, keep finding more stuff I want............ahhhhhhhh, my head's about to explode!! As Agent 86 used to say: "And loving it!"

WHAT? Why do they keep doing this? Why are we always second best?

I hate the fact thet we're only getting 250 HP, but guess what, I'll still buy Stage II.

Stage I felt pretty strong when I installed it, the power differences where about the same as Stage II so I see no reason not to buy it.

But keep in mind my friend, if you pay full price for Stage 2 ($999) you will be paying almost 2 1/2 times the money than for Stage 1. One page at the Mopar site says 265 hp and 280 torque. The next page for Stage 2 says 250 hp and the torque rpm range has changed. Let's hope they screwed up when they designed that page. It had better be 265 hp. I'm running close to 250 hp with the modified factory ram airbox, my custom turbo up pipe and 2.5" catback flow through exhaust. He!!, I could wait for the 2.5" downpipe with cat to complete my 2.5" exhaust and gain enough hp to hit 265.

Whoa a minute!!! If this "rumor" is true then we better be asking 3BarBoost how to install the SRT4 kit in our 5-spd. cars.
I remember him posting a number of months ago that it would be possible to do so and he would talk us through the conversion. I realize this would not be possible for those of you with automatics but maybe they will cut some slack pricewise with the PT bunch since the HP figure is now rumored to be lowered. This is a bunch of Horse Sh**
