Wow.. This is not good news. Everytime I get my hopes up, they are dashed. 15HP for 1k plus 450 for exhaust is too much for me. I really wanted stage 2, but I am a little disapointed in the results.

Any idea when the stage will become available for the PT? [:I]

My math works fine, I already have stage 1, so I am at 235 Hp now, not 215. So why would i spend 1500 (include muffler) for 15 hp?

I don't know how your math works but my pt is 215hp, so if you take 250hp-215hp you get an increase of 35hp not 15hp.

so 35hp for $1000 seems like a deal to me.

I'll sell mine for $2000.00.

Top that RK.
Dude, for that money I'd better get DOUBLE the HP of S2. So that would be what, like, 10HP???? (me thinks I might get smacked by 3bar for that one)

Kidding, kidding, it's a joke!!!

Honest.

HP is a factor of torque and rpm, so why the huge discrepancy?
I know that the intake plenum on our PT is a little puny, but 15HP worth?

I wonder if this isn't a problem of HP management to protect the drivetrain. The PT does cary a few more pounds, AND has the weaker of the two drivetrains.

The problem with these discrepancies is that no one trusts that they are getting what they pay for. Does the BTG exhaust give as mutch to the S2 as the Borla? How does a CAI affect the S2 kit? How about 3" downpipe and CAT?

So many variables....so few answers!

That changes everything I didn't know free shipping was part of the deal, actually sounds like a few tubes of KY are included with that price too.

The torque output is the same and this is good.
I believe that SII will work extremly well with additional mods, I'm just not sure it is worth the $$$$ they are asking for it.
As 3bar pointed out with SI, there was more to the kit than just a power increase:
The Meat=
SI= Increased WOT and Part Throttle Boost.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Enhanced 1st gear boost schedule for higher performance launch.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Optimized calibration for the MP BOV.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Improved turbo response
SII? Same as SI?
SI= Boost hold feature during WOT shifts.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Soft rev limiter.
SII? SAME as SI?
SI= Performance optimized transmission calibration.
SII? SAME AS SI?

If there are significant improvments over SI in the above calibrations then I would say it would be worth it! If not? SRT/PVO, 3bar can you enlighten us with real #'s? What are we really getting????
Thanks

Maybe I'm crazy but I for one care more about torque ratings than HP ratings.

If it makes the 280 lb/ft I'm in.
