If it makes the 280 lb/ft I'm in.
I think you are on the correct path; paying more attention to the torque than the HP. With the PCM programming concentrating on controlling torque (and hopefully making as much as possible as soon as possible), HP becomes a secondary issue - Just like Little Bo Peep's Lost sheep. Leave it alone, and it will come home.

However, having said that; we didn't asked to have it gold plated.

The current pricing looks like DCX is seeking alimony (described as the screwing you get for the screwing you got).[xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(][xx(]

I think I asked sometime back, "If we don't get the Turbo toys how are we making the same HP numbers as the SRT?"[:I]

Now we see that we got 15 HP less than the SRT-4... Or are they increasing 15 HP with the IC sprayer???

If that is correct, I will buy one at Pep Boys and install it, or better yet, build an N2O IC Sprayer and super-cool the intercooler... Then again, won't the PCM compensate decreasing boost... [xx(][xx(][xx(]

The Mopar web site shows the srt #'s with an * which denotes "with CAT back exhaust" and does not mention toys.
So I assume the srt #'s are with only the addition of the CAT back exhaust.
Do the toys add additional HP/TQ ?????
I would say Mopar's "octypipe" Cat back is more restricted on the PT and the numbers show it?

You're in Cali like me and in OC no less. And Everyone knows that all you people in OC are millionaires. Plus it includes shipping costs. sheesh!

macster
Wow, free shipping! It's deals like that that makes it possible for some of us to hang on to our money and become millionaires. One look at my bank balance tells me I need to find a whole lot more deals before that'll ever happen!

That changes everything I didn't know free shipping was part of the deal, actually sounds like a few tubes of KY are included with that price too.
Uh-uh, no how, no way. All bets are off. (oh man, the jokes running through my head about this line, but I don't want to get banned from the forum!)

Now back to the topic.

Actually that part of the website is hosed, lots of misinformation there, lots of omissions. Rollover Image errors etc.

Could you elaborate .
What macster is referring to is the contradictory information on the Mopar Performance website. This page - http://www.mopar.com/perf_pt.htm - gives one set of numbers for the S2 PT Cruiser upgrade, while this one - http://www.mopar.com/pt_stage_2.htm - gives another. Big question - which numbers are right[:I] Not to mention the javascript rollovers aren't working correctly, but that's a topic for a different forum[]

Sorry, I can find no discrepancy and I did not see one yesterday either? The first link shows no specs and the second shows 250/280?
