Well if it's true, fine, but when you come in and post something off the wall with no explanation, then what do you expect people to think?

You know as well as I do that if most people call a dealership and say that, that they'll either have no idea what you're talking about, or will deny it even exists.Look at the fact that to get the high-rpm miss fix done, some people had to do all of the leg-work themselves and even get DCX Customer Service to fax them the TSB for them to even ackknowledge that there is a TSB.

If you're going to make claims, give something to back them up.

all you have to do is call the dealership and tell them you know of a software upgrade for the pcm. schedule an appointment and they'll do the rest. anyone can do this and yes triplejackass it is damn true.

This is all B.S. until I see a TSB #. There has to be a service action or a fix to a complaint. There has to be a new program version, update associated to it! Putup or ...... well you know! I do not want to be rude but I agree with t-jack, Back Up Your Claim! Geez, I had to fight to get a documented complaint along with a TSB that addressed this complaint performed, let alone just walk in and say I hear there is a program update, flash my pcm.

Is Chrysler going to just give SI away?

Tjack,
How true, I had to literally spell the TSB out for anTWERPan motor cars, then they told me because I didn't have any DTCs logged I didn't need the PCM replaced, I had to point with my finger to the part that read no codes would be stored because it was a hardware issue[xx(][xx(]
I must admit my GT is a totally different car since the PCM was replaced.[8)]

I had my PCM replaced a few months ago when my MAP sensor went made. Must admit car feels a little quicker than before but only a little.

Yea, I had to call the (US) mothership and have them FAX the TSB to my dealer because they couldn't get their heads out of their butts long enough to find it themselves! Talk about frustration.

Anyway, I remember some kind of PCM flash upgrade being discussed last Fall (the last time I was here). I thought the flash was supposed to fix the "sometimes the radiator fan doesn't come on" problem.

I took my car to the dealer after people were talking about this flash, but they didn't mention anything about an available PCM flash. I didn't bring it up either because I've been trying to keep my blood pressure low when I go there.

If there is a PCM upgrade that improves performance, then gpac1969, post the fricking TSB#!

i work at a dealership no such thing that i have found and if i could get more power for free i would have it.

p.s. gpac1969 the triplejackass was not called for at all. all he wanted was proof not "i got my pcm flashed and made 226 hp" then when asked you don't respond for a couple of days. this is for helping each other not holding things in front of people and not producing.
