Default 180HP Turbo Lite + S1 =

Tons of fun! My friendly neighborhood UPS guy delivered my S1 package yesterday and I installed it this morning. PCM only, and it took me 45 minutes to install. If it wasn't for the BTG Strut Brace getting in my way I probably could have done it in 30 minutes. Went out and did the tranny quick learn procedure, then filled up with a tank of 91 octane (at current SoCal prices I thought about taking out a loan!) and went and played a bit before the rains started up again. What a smile inducer this is!! And yes, I can now break the front wheels loose from a 15mph roll - couldn't do that before.

Now, I know how much you all like to see pictures of mods around here, so here's my before and after:

BEFORE (Stock PCM)

AFTER (S1 PCM)

Are you installing it yourself or is your dealer? My dealer talked a good game, but when push came to shove they insisted that S1 for an '04 included the injectors and then they all of sudden wanted $200 to install. They also told me a minimum of 4 weeks to get it. Um, thanks, but NO! I ordered mine from a different dealer who actually knew what he was talking about and installed it myself. I got the part in about a week, including the above mentioned dealer shipping across country to me!

Anyway, you're gonna love it! Like I said, I was amazed at how easy this was to install and of course going from 180HP to 235HP is just amazing. Talk about bang for your buck!

Mike-in-Orange, where did you order the Stage 1 from and what was the price, if you do not mind me asking? Want to get one on order the 1st of March.

az, I got it from Tommy (aka tthrift) at Haynes Jeep in Richmond, VA. You've seen his posts, and his wallaby, on this forum. You guys can talk price, that's between you two. I'll tell you this though....Tommy just plain ROCKS!

I think it would just be a pic of a blank wall - the car would be looooong gone!

I'm not so sure about S2....what with the cost of a new exhaust, plus installation of everything, it just doesn't seem real cost effective to me. Of course, I say this today..............

Mike-in-Orange;

I'll bet you another beer that your BTG Cat Back Duals will handle S2 just fine.
