Default Is This The End?

As with many endeavors there is a beginning, a middle, and (unfortunately) an end. Daimler has never had a warm spot for the "old regieme", being: the Prowler, Viper, and PT cruiser lines, they see the brave new world in terms of large square front rear drive vehicles (much like the ones they make a home - theirs not ours).

We have been led to believe that the PT will NOT be going the performance rout in the future, NO, much the oposite direction. So, why invest in a vehicle that is on it's way out and going a direction that is not company line? (Even if the parts are interchangable with a current viable program.)

Even the slower of us can read the tea leaves at this point.

We may get another year of lukewarm semi-attention, but don't count on it. These little Cruisers that we love so dearly will be placed with the GLH, and other short lived pocket rocket mini-sedans. Move over for the - bigger is better, square is beautiful squad, and enjoy what time we have with our retro-mobiles.[?]

Does that mean that we will soon be driving classics --like the Mercedes 300 gullwing or the Ferrari Daytona? Companies will be making fiberglass knockoffs and us owners of the originals will be driving ungodly expensive to insure classic cars? We will all get rich when we sell them!

Bwahahaha...fiendishly clever of them...

or will will all lose our shorts when we sell them...one or the other

Actually, we will probably drive the leggs off our fun little cars and enjoy every minute. Just don't expect an encore of the same when it comes time to reload, and by the way, don't expect a lot of attention to the postmarket of the PT fron DC.[|)]
