you may be waiting longer than that Kirby. I herd from a little worm that there is a GOOD chance it will not be aviable. I dont blame them. ALL the BI***IN about the warenty issue and not enough S1 sold, why waste the money on the development when only a hundred or so will sell. there are other ways to void your war.

PVO - I agree that the b****ing and moaning may have torqued them off, but as for the reason that so few Stage 1 kits have sold, I would have to say that many of us, myself included, have not bought it because you have to ditch it when you go to Stage 2.I don't want to spend $350 on a Stage 1 if I will have to get a new PCM with Stage 2.

EXACTLY my feelings, all the R&D should be done or atleast very close to being done. I guess S1 (to avoid CEL) and a powerpaq is the way to go. CRYsler must love to p--s off their customers. That is a sure way to lose them, and the bad word of mouth WILL kill them.

Give the guy a break! tthrift started this thread saying that he talked directly to Mopar and they are still going to release S2.

What higher authority do you base your negativity on? tthrift said he talked directly to Mopar...who'd you talk to?

This is by far the lamest excuse for not releasing S-2. I don't subscribe to the "we're not worthy" crew's view that we as customers need to walk on egg shells to have anyone create product! I will never believe that any ammount os a$$ kissing would make DC make or not make a product!

Intellegent companies create products to sell them!

VALUE sells!

If your product adds fun, but attacks overall value, people will ask why!

The aftermarket products were an attempt to create excitement around a project (the PT). Because of lack of support and poor marketing it didn't work.

Daimler Chrysler is moving AWAY from the PT... so why spend the money. Daimler in it's arrogance wants Chrysler to turn the clock back and make heavy rear wheel drive V-8 square front boats again (just as gasoline begins to skyrocket in price)...this leaves our efficient little retro-rocket out in the cold.

The withdrawl of support has very little to do with any of the members of this website, quite the contrary, we are PT enthusiasts. We can and do buy products with value. This whole scenario has to do with a parent company out of touch with it's core customers... english does not interpret word for word in german, and german does NOT interpret similarly to American car buyers.

This attitude that asking questions keeps us from getting product only holds water if you believe that you get things for being a well behaved and obedient child. If we march like lemmings toward the sea we will all get our reward!

I just want Daimler to quit playing dodgeball with the aftermarket so that young hungry American companies that aren't afraid to offer real value can have their chance at the plate![?]

i thought about holding off on stage 1 because of the release of stage 2. Well, I bought stage 1 six months ago and have been happy with it and if/when stage 2 gets released, the 350 i spent on stage 1 will have been well worth it. $350 for 9-12 months of use isn't bad for me, others may disagree. If stage 2 isn't released for some reason, I have a good starting point for additional mods.

I agree 100% with dtbrks! S1 was well worth the $330 I spent even if it was only for a year.

If Mopar doesn't bring out S2 for the PT then I'll order the SRT4 S2 and do what ever is necessary to adapt...
