srt was developed for comptition for the rice burners and is part of the performance commitment of cd. pt was developed as all purpose retro car not a hotrod. the pt was not built as a compeditor for the srt. so when it comes to performance up grades srt s will get them first. and all our bitching is not going to change it.

Don't waste your time on Kirby, I've come to the conclusion he's an internet "flamer"...one who posts just to get a rise out of people and cause discontent. In the year I've been on this site I do not believe I've read one post from Kirby that is on a positive note. Basicly he just flamed you...you dropped to his level...you then fired-back with an angry reply... and he is now gleefully enjoying the rise he got out of you (and the rest of us). I have to admit I've have posted an angry post or two but its not my regular diet like some people on this site. We all know you get better service and results ANYWHERE when you treat the other person with respect and work with them rather than against them. A good boss knows he will get more out of his people when he gives out good and helpful comments ALONG with some constructive critisizim. O.K. Kirby you can go ahead and flame us now...but do yourself a favor (and those that have to live with you and work with you)and get some counseling before it's too late. Your well on your way to an ulcer or worse yet a heart-attach[V] Tommy, I've already sent you one note about being my supplier for the S2 kit...and that still stands. We appreciate your help and comments on this forum.[^] Deen

I think this topic is getting to personal, but who am I to say[:I]. I would like to mention a few things, which I think may be up to debate.
1. Mopar left the srt site well before leaving here because of all the beatching done there. While we had 3bar, they had nothing. Mopar just came back to the SRT site this month after a long absense. Go over and read the rules. You can ask a question once a month, and by the way, there is nothing to say the questions have to be answered. 2. I have read many post at the srt site, most of which are much worse than anything I read here regarding inflamitory statements. 3. In the end, if mopar was upfront with everyone regarding the PT, we could move on. It's this type of closed door, rumor stuff that just adds fuel to the fire. If we knew the price and release date, none of this would be an issue. What's the secret and why? If I get told the stage 2 release date is Dec 1st, then fine, I can personally make a decision on what I will do with my car next. Just my 2 cents. |

In my view the whole issue is due in part to the medium in which we communicate right now. These message boards allow info. to fly between us whereas previously we were left to trade mags. and tips from a service manager. It appears possibly the management at Mopar was unprepared to handle the info. flow of these boards or rather the "rapid response team" approach we take. We gobble up every tidbit given out and amplify it ten fold before the next day. Sometimes that is good, sometimes bad. I imagine that reeling in their people from the boards was a way to limit the amount of stuff that got out of hand and in their view hurt the overall effort. A little heavy handed but understandable. Now then, this and 75 cents might get you a cup of joe

Everyone needs to calm down. Damn!!! When I spoke to Uniqtwin at the Block Party she told me look for a June release date. I had posted this back in November. That's why I haven't posted on all these S2 bitch and whine posts. If it does get released in June we should hear something in May. If June rolls around and we still haven't heard anything then I'll be the first person to start a bitch, whine and moan thread. Until then I'm gonna find other ways to make my GT faster.
