on a more informative light...a free flow intake and a better exhaust, both designed for the GT would be the best. As the stage 2 is designed more for the use of them. Your choice of venders, everyone here has thier favorites, go with what you like and what your budget demands. IMHO

borla , btg, and mopar all have gt specific exhausts. You can go the special fabed straight through route that some here like from aa local shop.

After doing a little reading through the site I have come up with another question. If I were to install the ATP 3" downpipe & cat, how would it effect, or better put, work with my stock or even a
2 1/2" exhaust system? Would there be a problem mating up the flanges? [:I]Any help here would be geatly appreciated. Also how do the people that have installed the ATP system like it?

You will have to have a short section fabricated to mate up with the ATP DP on any cruiser, not a big deal for am exhaust shop. The only DP that I know of that specifically fits the PT is MAXFAB's and that is for use with the MoPar/Borla 2.5" exhaust. He has posted he could fab it to fit the stock exhaust. I have heard rumor that PT-Tuning is considering making a DP that is a direct bolt in. I am waiting to see what they do. One reason I like the ATP is that you can remove the cat,it is flanged at both ends. This allows easy removal for use of a test pipe and if the cat fails, which they do, it will be easier to replace just the CAT and not the whole DP.
