Me too Cal Cruiser. Even though I'm in Texas it will make me feel more confident that there will be no issues here.

Hardsuit, we all thankyou for the update[^]

Hopefully (I know this is WISHFULL THINKING) we will end up with a S2 kit with MORE power than less...since the stage kits run overly pig-rich at WOT. What I do not understand is why DCX would sell hundreds of non-CARB approved kits to SRT4 owners and sell maybe 100 CARB-approved kits to PT owners?
Anyway...and most importantly...we are still on track for S2. THANKYOU
UniqueTwin

Deen

Deen;

I would think there are thousands of PT Turbo owners out there considering this S2 upgrade. We need to consider Turbo Light in the mix too. The fact that it will be CARB certified will make it that much more desirable to those that may not have opted for S1 or S2 if it wasn't. Good Marketing!

Thank you DCX, & Thank you Unique! Please keep the heat on, we want this.

Hardsuit, Thanks for the report.

RD CHILI,

If my memory serves me correct the original sale of S1 only came out to around 100 kits (as reported by Gina aka UniqueTwin). When there was a pole a few months ago on this site for who was going to purchase S2 this forum only had about 110-120 responces with some being duplicates. There are a few other PT forum sites but none of them are as knowledgeable about performance upgrades (S1 & S2) as this site.

Most PT owners are not into high-performance especially when it comes to possibly losing warranty work. For example there are two of us on this site that belong to the TVCC cruiser club in Oregon. The club boasts around 300 members but at this time out of all those 300 Cruisers only two of us have S1. That figures out to 0.007 percent!

I do agree there may be more buyers for those people who purchase a Turbo-lite. The economics of paying close to $1000 for 50 HP (GT + S2) compared to paying $1000 for 85 HP (Turbo-lite + S2)could definetly swing the odds for more Turbo-lite owners stepping up to put there money down on S2.

Time will tell...

S2 = [8)] =

Deen

I think a lot of people opted not to get stage 1 because stage 2 would totally replace it and was to come out a few months after its release.

Now that stage 2 has been delayed who knows how long I wish I had gotten stage 1.

I didn't buy S-1 for smog and warranty reasons. I figured if I was going to piss it away I would wait for S-2 anyhow then decide.

I went to the SEMA show this past Sunday at the LA Convention Center, and had a chance to chat with UniqueTwin for a bit about Stage 2(S2) for the PT.
I had dinner with Uniq last year while she was in town visiting her twin sister. I found her to be very focused, intelligent, fun, and
very, very H O T.[]
IMHO, she'd be a finalist for The Apprentice.
