Same here. Would love to have S1 but don't want to deal with
the warranty crap. If the CARB S2, then I am there!

U still will not get a warranty...just perhaps CARB certification.

It is my understanding that to get CARB certification it has to be warrantied for as long as the original CARB waranty lasted. We should get full factory smog warantys no more no less!! The actual parts waranty never bothered me just the implication that we are not street legal and the inference that all our ills could be traced back to the stage 1 mods.

I lived in San Francisco for nearly a decade - if a stock GT with 8.8 compression flattop pistons running as pig rich as they do can pass inspection the Stages should pose zero problem; not all inspection stations are alike
