Here in Georgia the difference in mid-grade 89 oct to Super 93 octane is 20 cents. I just filled up for $1.74 gal Super. Now in the early 70's with the gas shortages I would fill up on low lead and dump a booster in the Dodge HEMI SuperBee But that was when I ran Sunoco 260 or Red Ball. Most times I couldnt get 260. The booster seemed fine in the Super Bee anybody use one in there PT? With the 20 cent difference in cost any empty fill up would only be what $3? And booster 104++ is nearly $8 a bottle But I wonder if the PT would enjoy the highest octane [8)]

The GT/HO PCM is set to run on 91 octane. Unless you are running a Stage kit it will probably not help to run a higher octane than 91 (but it will decrease performance to run a lower octane than 91).
Now if you could get a Stage 2 Kit with Toys 100 octane will increase performance.

Those cotane boosters you buy in the store are not really worth anything except as a wallet-drainer. I think they have been tested many times and are proven to be about as useful as Slick 50

I agree with the others that you're better off spending the extra $3 per tank to get the 91 octane.
But I just gotta say...........$1.74/gal for 91 octane! Holy hi-test Batman! You've got to be kidding me??? We're paying around $2.25/gal for the stuff here in SoCal, so (and I mean this in the most friendly manner) quit yer whinin' and put the good stuff in the tank! $2.25/gal[xx(]...why those lousy !&^$%*#&%....I oughta ...geez if I could get my hands on.....

I just filled up w/ 94 octane at 89.4/L so that converts to 2.55/gallon so um yeah.

They are right, the octane boosters are junk. Just pay the extra and go with the higher octane fuel.

No whining here I was looking for more octane ... Sorry guys Georgia has some of the cheapest gas in the USA. SC isnt bad either.... The taxes here in GA are the reason. I was up North last month and paid the highest in my lifetime in NY at $2.10 gal for 93 Octane. Besides race fuel is there any commercial pump gas higher then 93? Just curious for the Stage II???

Here on the East Coast, I have yet to find any 91 octane. It might be nice to just save a few pennies on the tank fill-up. We are, on average, slowly edging our way in the mid-Atlantic area over $2/gal for 93 octane.

i saw on the news that Ga. has the lowest avg. gas prices in the whole country. 87 is about $1.55-$1.65 depending on what brand you buy. the most i paid for 93 is $1.92 about 2 weeks ago. now im paying $1.80~$1.85.if im really lucky, i'll find a sam's club that has it at like at $1.72. i remember in early 2002 i was getting 93 at $.95-$1.00.those were the days.
