Good post Blueberry. The (SRT4) S2 power you feel on the street and that 107 mph trap speed is great. I'm hoping we'll get S2 for the GT that does so well.

From what I've read on SRT Forums, some S2 SRT people that are a little disappointed in S2 performance are mainly concerned about trap speeds no better than before S2 (some at 100 mph or less). They recognize that traction and other factors may adversely affect ET's. They aren't negative on S2 and are determined to find the problem. The one's I'm referring to seem knowledgeable and some don't have other modifications which may conflict. Does your BF have an exhaust upgrade, or is he totally stock other than S2?

My thouhgts exactly. There are so many variables at the track. You many not go out and improve your times right off until you learn how to put the power to the asphalt and take into consideration atmopsheric conditions, track conditions etc. I will reserve judgement.

John M -- He is totally stock other than S2.

We arrived at the track a little earlier than usual, so we were both able to get in more runs. He used Dial-A-Boost setting 2 which limits the boost in first gear. His lowest trap speed was 103MPH without the race gas and the 107MPH was acheived using the race gas and Dial-A-Boost setting 3. Albeit, the MPH seemed a bit high to me, but I've used this track as well as other tracks and had the same results at both places with my car.

A lot of GT owners seemed very pleased with S1 and think we are all hoping that S2 will provide even better results.

I don't remember seeing huge improvements in the SRT4 with S1. However, a lot of GT owners are dropping a good .5-.7 tenths off of their quarter mile times with just S1.
