How do you choose a new :

-turbocharger blow-off valve (BOV).

-different MAP sensor,

-turbo waste gate

Where are you reverse on your shifter ?

Really all you need is the MOPAR or the clone MOPAR blow off valve.
Anything else is for the sound factor only. It has actually been shown that most all BOV don't really do much to begin with?

Personally I like the "SSSSSSSS" sound ot them. So like CAI's on a Turbo PT they are for looks and sound only not for building or supporting any power improvements.

The rest of the items unless you intend to build more than about 250HP and 18psi boost there is no reasonable answer or reason to have to having them!

If you are at the point of building that much HP and TQ there are lots of other supporting items that need to come first.

If you build a solid and consistent 200-230 WHP it will be more than enough to carry a PT Cruiser into the mid 12's not break a lot off parts and still be very street drivable.


BTW as mentioned on another response if you choose to go with SYKEDTUNNING Keven can PCM control increase your torque limiters and boost controlled psi slightly if you like to live in the scary world of engine safe reliability?

Im sure you think I m a bit crazy but I would like to get around 300-350HP

Not at all..

I am simply explaining the limitations of the running gear.

300 horse power out of the engine is fairly easy to achieve. Utilizing that power or expecting the transmission and other chassis and running gear parts to stay together is another whole animal.




May I suggest that you first do a chassis DYNO run to get some base line information about where you are at power wise?


This is under 230 WHP and very simple power output upgrades.

the GT is 220 HP and would like to go to 300-350 HP a first
