You were ripped off, the S1 kit should be completely bolt and go. Did the instructions say you had to go to the dealer for programming? not in the instructions I looked at. I hope DC doesn't give you the "sold as is no warranty" standard reply. I am planning on ordering S1 soon, I hope mine is right. DC is really blowing it on customer service these days.
Good luck, keep us informed. Tom |

Thier,
The stage 1 ran very strong even with no speedo and check engine light on. The dealer carged me 70 bucks to reprogram the pcm with the correct vin and skim code, whatever that is. Said it had to be done regardless of whether the vin was correct or not. Total bs. I went in monday to get a brochure on the new magnum. A salesman told me they only had one and I couldn't have it because they needed to show customers. He had two on his desk. This after buying two cars there in the last six months. Told him to kiss my a** and will be shopping around for a magnum r/t or Durango somewhere else. But the PT is killing GT mustangs regularly. Mostly because they can't drive. Will be going to the drags at Commerce friday night to see haw it really performs. |
