Initial S1 Observations

I just installed the Stage One kit yesterday on my 03 GT AutoStick. Took it out this AM and "taught" the tranny. Yes the car feels stronger,,,,[8)]

Intrestingly enough my vacumn went from 13 or 14 inches to a FULL 19 inches.

My operating temperature dropped one full line on the stock temp gauge (I refer to it as a semi-educated idiot light, as it shows cold and hot,,,, with varying degrees,,,,and no real numbers). Real gauges are about to be installed. I was running eggzactly at 3 PM on that gauge. (that could be AM,,,,)

Yes, our intercoolers are internally coated with OIL (thus reducing their efficiency). The intake stain that we all see is really oil. It is washing up and on the injectors and over the valve cover, also (photo's available). It is a real problem, as I see it. With the boost levels we are running, we need more bolts in the intake. Washing it away does not cure the problem.
