Default stage 1 blunder

So there I was just installed my brand new S1 and went for a drive.
I noticed no power gain acutally loss, and my speedo was inop and fuel gauge fluctuated ,sound familiar. Long behold after many intense hours with the service techs, I called MOPAR directly and talk to the engineers that installed my software. Even though all part numbers were correct and VIN was correct they somehow installed a automatic transmission program in my manual PT. Oop's, So heads up to all whose speedos are inop, it could most likely be a simple factory oversight. By the way MOPAR was kind enough to overnight the correct one and all is good!

The number supplied with the instructions is not being routed correctly so you end up with a different company. I will try to find the number i called and post asap.

Those symptoms were the same as mine when I had the PCM replaced. The only problem was that they forgot to flash the pinion gear ratio in the PCM so if anyone else has simialar problem, check that before suspecting the a bad part. It was a much easier fix.

Quick question. Was the PCM replaced a stage one or Stock?

Cal Cruzer, how do you go about checking if the pinion gear ratio was not flashed in the PCM and what steps have you taken to resolve the problem.

For myself, finally gave up on S2 and ordered S1 last monday, so I want to be prepared just in case.

Now that's a serious bummer bud! I'm sure you'll have it replaced in time for the next street legal drag night in Fontana. Run me on the first pass of the night...you know everybody gets their best times running against me, so it should be a fun night for you! I can't wait to see you putting some serious power down and really showing what a PT can run!!
