What Color are your Injectors??

An Old Buick GN guy (me) is asking what the color your Fuel Injectors are...... They where rated and colored to make them easy to spot. So,,,, What year turbo car, model (Lite, GT) and color of injectors.

My 03 GT had purple injectors. The Stage 1's (that came with the MOPAR kit) are black with a blue stripe at the base.

mine were pink ande the new ones are black and blue s1

S1 is blue, stock 03 injectors were pink I think...heh.

I just did the forum shuffle again. My '04 turbo-lite has black injectors with a blue band at the manifold. I hope that's a good thing, since it's still stock.

If you look at the Stage 1 page on Mopar's website there's a picture of the injectors - black with a blue band. '03 owners are all reporting a pinkish/light purpleish color. Sort of confirms that the '04 models do indeed have the Stage 1 injectors as a stock item. Sort of.

Mike, What color were your original injectors, before S1?

Looking at my MOPAR catalog, the S1 injectors are solid black with a blue O-ring at the fuel rail (shown for SRT-4). Different part numbers for the '03, and '04 PT Cruiser S1 kits.

I haven't look at them but I assume they're the same as yours since we both have the '04 Turbo Lite. Remember, Stage 1 for the '04 is just the PCM. We've been told all along that the higher flow injectors, now standard on turbo motors, is what gives the '04 GT the extra 5HP over the '03.
