Default Autostick quick learn

Ok question,
if you are in the process of the quick learn, and break the cycle of 25 shifts, do you have to start over? in other words, lets say on the eight 0-50 run and break, you don't stop completely, do you have to start over at # 1?
Tom

The quick learn procedure says you must stop completely between the 0-50 mph runs[:I]

Gary,
I didn't see anything there about breaking the procedure, am I missing it, or were you directing me to the dealer flashing the QL?
I was thinking of doing that, but don't feel like going through the appointment bs. Anyone know what they charge for it?
Thanks,
Tom

I don't mean to be giving away the secrets of the dealership, but it only takes 5 minutes to do a quicklearn with our scanners. And 4 of those minutes are trying to get in the car's computer. Don't let them charge you an hour. I could do those back when I was an hourly apprentice. If it is under warranty, tell them you are having shifting problems and just want a quicklearn performed. They should do it. It's free for you, and the tech should get at least some time from Chrysler. If you are decent friends with the service department, they should do it for you. Just like we program remotes and keys for free. We want the customers happy and will do the little stuff for free hoping that any probs you have you'll bring to us. Apparently my dealership is different from everyone else.

Tom
The thread was FYI only. However, I let my dealer "do his thing" (flash QL or whatever? [:I]) and then after getting my car back I did the "quick learn" procedures. I figured this wouldn't hurt anything, AND, just maybe, my new STAGE 1 would perform twice as good! [)] I now have over 800 miles on my S1 and everything is working flawlessly--outstanding performance [8)] and some improvement in gas mileage when I'm not experiencing a case of "lead foot".
