Default Holy S***

Those were the exact words of the tech after a short test ride of my Turbo 'Lite' with the new Stage 1 upgrade.
I have to agree, WOW!!!
Took it for a little run out the highway, 80 is as easy as 50 used to be! Seems to have better low end, smoother shifts, and a smoother kick in of the turbo. I may get in trouble with this.

With a GT you get an extra 15-20 hp. You should be able to feel a difference in the car.
With a Turbo Lite your getting an exta 55 hp. You will DEFINITELY feel that! You'd be hard pressed to try and get 55 hp more out of any other car for uder $400. Great bang for the buck. Enjoy!
Smoke em if you got em![8)] Or should I say now that you can![?]

It's an eye opener, isn't it Dave? After putting S1 on my Turbo Lite I was a bit shocked the first time I jumped on it from a 20mph roll and the tires lit up! Wasn't expecting that.[?]

I have a question. I am the proud owner of a 2004 Electric Blue PT Turbo Lite. I was wondering, would I get any performance advantages by swapping in a Greddy set up? Also, would the Stage 1 work with it or would it not make much of a difference on the Greddy? Any info would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I've been a lurker for a couple weeks and this is an awesome forum!!

Welcome to the forum, NewBluCruzr. I don't know anything about Greddy so I'll let someone else answer your question. However, Turbolite + S1 = AWESOME POWER and a chronic case of "leadfoot"!!! [8)]...but Officer, I was just "breaking in" my new S1 doing the autotranny relearn...[B)]

Thanks Gary. LOL, yeah, my wife will tell you how I just got my first ticket in 3 1/2 years coming home from work last week. Luckily, cop was more interested in the cruiser than he was in slammin' me. Got me for 84 in a 70 when he clocked me at a lil over 90 . Was just cruisin the freeway home at 1am (empty freeway, "tired leg too weak to hold foot off pedal, heehee). Anyway, I have heard the S1 is the way to go on our Lites. Has anyone heard of a way to "re-tune" the computer to get the GT HP? Or maybe swapping a GT computer for ours? Just wondering cuz 40 hp is 40 hp, ya know. Thanks!

A Greddy what? Greddy makes several products.

I would suggest getting S1 first. Best bang for your buck on the Turbo light hands down.

I recently asked about the Mopar S1 performance enhancement kit at my dealer and they said (a) the car would not be street legal, and (b) it would void the engine warranty. Are either of these statements true?

They said they could order the kit and sell it to me, but that they wouldn't install it.
