There are several 07 PT Turbo pcms for sale right now on ebay. The cheapest one is $125 OBO plus shipping. You can certainly use one of these as a core to load the S1 programming so you don't have to sacrifice your working original. As well, if you provide your own core to Cindy, she can install the S1 programming for $125*, which might end up by being a lot cheaper, and faster, than having her trying to source one out and ending up at $375. (*-as of our last conversation a month or so ago.)

If the HP tuner works out, with a correct 07 GT pcm, then you will be good to go to get your tuning done. If not, then you could buy one of the 07 pcm from ebay and get syked to flash his 06 stage 1 programming to it, and make a hybrid 07 with 06 Stage 1 programming; as he did with Handy's 07 pcm. In theory, if Kevin programs the correct calibration id for an 06 Stage 1, the DS will be compatible.

Edit: Now that I am thinking about it, all that really is needed is a compatible calibration id so that the DS would work. I wonder if Syked can, or would be willing to, simply modify the calibration ID and not bother wit the full S1 programming. If you are using the DS then the S1 programming isn't even needed since the DS will overwrite the tune anyway with its own. In this way, the stock 06 GT calibration ID could be programmed to your 07, or core 07 pcm, and enable the DS to work. I don't know if it would work or not, but it might be worth trying, if the cost to change that cal id isn't prohibitive. Just food for thought

If revo has an ATX you may be creating a problem that DS can not resolve with what you are suggesting..just saying. He had better thoroughly discuss this with DS before purchasing.

Yes, it is definitely an experimental situation, and as I have said I don't know if it will work. But, if the costs aren't excessive, then it is probably worth trying.

We know that an 06 S1 tune will work on an 07 pcm. Handy has the proof running in his car, but he does have a battery light on. So it is not much of a stretch to think that if the stock tune is left there, it might eliminate the erroneous battery light, but with the correct 06 GT cal id, allow the DS to modify the tune. Their website does indicate that an 06 GT is compatible, so if their website isn't in error, then it should work.

As far as I know, the DS does not touch or affect the trans programming in any way so I can't see how having an ATX would be an issue. In theory, as long as he is using an 07 core which will already have the programming for the VLP valve body, all should be good.

Hp texted me back my turbo lite ngc3 ecm is compatible with the Hp tuner but at a cost of 649 with no license no preloaded tunes like nitro stated speed cost money. The way I see it 649 plus license plus dyno tune for 599 that a down payment on a 2014 srt8 charger.

All right I'm all set. Yeah talked to Sykes tuning found a ecm on ebay for 110$ going to have it sent 5o him so he can flash stage 2 for me ordered stage 2 fuel injectors 2 3bar sensors and a stage 2 waste gate why do stage 1 when for a few more $ I can max out my stock system. When and if I go big turbo you eliminate a lot of stuff so I don't 5hink it will be that hard to have it up and running. But 8m happy right now. Still have some extra money looking at an ultra gauge since they have one that reads air fuel cause I need a wide band now.

any chance of getting a stock vs modified dyno run ?

I was thinking of doing that but don't know how to proceed due to after stock run have to swap injectors waste gate and 2 bar sensors so 8ll have to see how much and if they will price me out some kind of package deal . But most likely if I can afford it after dropping 1400$ on a Trans rebuild due to reverse slipping. Happy cruising.

why not just get a used replacement transmission for $500 that works fine

Trans so stated that it's common room reverse to go reverse piston leaks internally 1 year warranty. I get used Trans don't know what condition how it was maintained it could blow in 2 weeks. The rebuilt it's every thing new including torque converter all new internals valve body installed 1400. No tax cause owner said I'm in the business so he could do that it's first time letting someone else touch my car in 19 yrs since becoming a tech. I fell it's worth it if I could rebuild my self I would. But that is a specialist part of automotive field.
