It still has not arrived I hope it makes it tomorrow. I took off the weekend for the install.
I did it to my daily driver and I love every minute of my one-way 34 mile drive to work each day..

Well add me to the list. I just ordered this from Tommy yesterday. Not ready to add it to the car yet, still only 260 miles on it, but soon, very soon I will go from 180 to 235. Now to accessorize. In AZ when we get rain, it pools, so I think a cool air is OUT. So, should I just do the drop in K&N? I don't need loud exhaust, so I think I will wait on a cat back.

Stage 1 here we come....

John

If you go through puddles deep enough to effect a cold air system, you are in WAAAYYY to deep anyhow. They sit high in the engine compartment.

So is the warranty void, once you've done a Stage 1 upgrade?

Mopar Performance Parts (those with a "P" in the part number) are not covered under warranty:

"Mopar Performance Parts are sold "as is," without any warranty whatsoever. Implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded. The entire risk as to quality and performance of such parts is with the buyer. Should such parts prove defective following their purchase, the buyer and not the manufacturer, distributor or retailer, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.

Chrysler, Dodge, and JeepĀ® vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the vehicle or parts are used for competition or if they fail as a result of modification
..."

http://www.mopar.com/pt_stage_1.htm

Also, most DC dealers will tell you that if they prove to you that failure of your car was caused by STAGE 1 or any other after-market modification then the warranty will not cover repairs.

You might want to tell your service managers not to reflash your PCM, otherwise the Stage 1 goes back to factory settings. That's one way they'll find out you have Stage 1 [].

Another way is looking through the computer of parts you purchased form the dealership or by network (not sure how extensive their network is).

Best way to be safe with Stage 1, is just talk to service managers on their stance with Stage 1.
