I'm doing that today. Pulling out the battery to get it checked again and inspect all the connections as you suggested myckee.

battery light on the dash on? touch the starter recently? age of the battery? any recent work besides the alternator?
No battery light on at all...nothing done to starter...don't recall age of battery...no other work done recently.

If your battery tested good, make sure your battery terminals are clean and in good condition and making a proper connection to the battery. As well, check and clean the ground connections on the inside of the driver fender. You probably have to remove the air box to get to it. Clean all of those connections. Check the connections on the starter. Remove them and clean the eyelets and then reinstall.

That is not to say that your PCM is not the problem, but it could very well be poor connections on the battery or on the ground wires, or on the starter. Hopefully it is just a simple case of poor electrical connections.
Testing battery again today...I agree seems electrical I will inspect all those connections as well...Thanks

While you are under the hood, i'd take a look at those torque struts. I went through a few of those turbo hoses myself before nitro's same advice. The shifting of the motor was causing the hose to fail prematurely.
Pacho likes this.

You sure you ordered the right part? $50 bucks seems pretty cheap and more in line with the non-turbo hose. I think i was paying about $80 to $120 for the turbo.

Pretty sure it is. Same part number 4891406AD replaces old number 4891406AB:

https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...PWxheWVyXzU%3D

That's the cheapest I could find it at. Some were 10-20 bux higher.
I used their vehicle info and vin number as well. It says it's for the Turbo as well.

I will do so. Can you tell me how you removed the "C" clamps on the hoses

Thanks...

I think you paid a good price, they probably charged you $15 in shipping charges? But you still did better, this is the most expensive one I found on Ebay:

MOPAR Air Cleaner Intake Hose fits 2003-2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser OE#4891406AD | eBay

Amazon was higher than your source:

The Amazon seller is actually a dealership here in Dallas.
