Kloydxyz,
I ran at Woodburn (track elevation 100' above sea level). I generally do not run at Madras since its only a 1/8th mile track.
To readabout the spring trick go to www.exhaustdepot.com
Then on the left hand side click on the SRT4/GT link...once there scroll down the page until you see modifications or maybe its performance modifications. Clicking on that takes you to the spring mod. I use a carb return spring, one end attached to the waste-gate arm and the other end attached to the back of the engine block.
I only use the spring mod at the race track since the computer will eventually "learn" the spring is there and will eventually start pulling power back to original levels. I can take the spring on and off in about two minutes.
In a couple of weeks AGP and tthrift (I'll be buying from tthrift since he supports our site) will be selling a billet adjustable WG that will let us start making the same power as the SRT4's. This will eleiminate the need for the spring trick. Add a manual or electronic boost-controller and a map-clamp (not for the weak-hearted or those relying on thier warranty) and you'll be seeing Stage 2 levels and above.
Deen
