Default Tranny re-Learn?

Hey everyone, I haven't been around for a long while.
There haven't been any new posts in this section for awhile.
So I thought I would post a question here lol
So here goes.....I have a 2003 Automatic Gt with the stage 1 in it.
I had to have a shop do a ton of work on it and they had to drop the tranny and remove it to do the work I needed done. Also they had the car battery unhooked before removing tranny. After the work was done I only drove it a few times just before I parked it for the winter and I removed the battery as well. So do I have to re-learn the tranny shift points again in the spring or is it already saved in the Stage 1 ecm? I know how to do it again if I have to.

If at the Dealer, they can update the PCM so it needs no relearn. If not, there is an easy procedure. You can download it from my Google Drive here:

This is info ^^^^^^

OR....

There is nothing you did that technically you would need to do anything. The PCM/TCM does not "forget" just because you have not driven it.... ha!

But for your own piece of mind it is a simple procedure as mentioned .... or just drive it normally.

GREAT TO SEE YOU POSTING AGAIN!

Hey guys thanks for the input.😁 Sorry it took so long to make any comments
I had Parked my GT for the winter at the end of October. So it is parked as I don't usually take it out until near the end of April or near the middle of May.....I only drove it 2 times since I got it back but I did notice it didn't have the same feel when I put it to the floor and then move to the next gear ect... It just didn't feel like it had the same shift points as it did before and to me it felt like it didn't shift the same. I think I will do the re-learn again just for shits and giggles, it won't hurt lol The Battery was out of the car for almost 1 1/2 weeks and then out again so the battery is out for another 5 1/2 months so basically out for almost 6 months It might be all in my head but
I am going to do the re-learn in the spring anyways. It will give me the peace of mind that I did it anyway Lol.
