Hello,
I will finally be getting my Stage 1 PCM for my '04 GT Auto here in the next couple of weeks. One question that has come up is in regards to the quick learn procedure required for the Autos. Does this process need to be performed on the road or can this be done safely on jack stands? I ask as I believe the dealers used to have the means to do the quick learn via computer in the shop, but am not sure if that was actually true. I mention this as I am not sure if the transmission actually has to be under normal load during the learning process or not. Any input is appreciated.

And to respond to my original question above, I just went ahead and did the quick learn procedure on the road as per the original Mopar instructions. I never had any shifting issues of any kind after completing the process.
