I haven't really seen any documentation on them for the PT turbo, but a Mustang mag did an application on a blown 5.0 some time ago, comparing a new set of stock plugs to a new set of iridiums and the iridiums put down more power on the dyno. From what I have read, they have solved the early problems they were having with the electrodes on the iridiums.

No problems with the iridium plugs. I have had the same kit in for a while now and I have not had any problems.

From every thing I have read about the iridum plugs, they are harder then platium. They deal with heat bettr, they help to get better gas milage. They help over all performance. That is why I bought them. I didn't want to spend $9.00 a plug, but if it improves the gas milage and the way it runs, then I will try them. I just bought a FRAM oil fliter that does'nt need to be changed for 10,000 miles. I paid twice as much for it and the advanced technology that came with it.

Well, I did'nt know FRAM oil filters are viewed as bad by some. I still plan on giving the FRAM filter a shot. I use Shell oil and gas. I still need help with find good affordable performance wires. Any suggestions?

You replied to the thread Wiresets
but did you read it? There were about 5-6 suggestions there. |

are the Nology Cool Wires only for the PT turbo?

Any wire that would work on a PT turbo would work for on a Non-turbo PT also.
Goes for plugs, too, except, many gap plugs smaller for turbo and platinums are not recommended for turbo (altho some sell platinum for turbo).

Thanks, good to know. I am limited on my finances right now and I need a good set of wires that are not over $35.00.
