Still happy with stage 1

With nearly 3000 miles on STAGE 1 my car "really rocks" [?]--absolutely flawless performance and outstanding drivability--with a [u]dividend of slightly improved fuel economy</u>. Depending on the weather, road conditions, and driving style, it appears as though gas mileage (using exclusively Chevron Supreme 92 octane gasoline) is anywhere from 0 to 12% better than before S1 was installed. IMHO, it is a real shame [V] that DC does not offer the STAGE 1 Turbo Upgrade as an option when ordering a new PT Cruiser turbo model from the factory as the company would increase profits and have more happy customers! Your install would be soooo easy. Ni injectors. Just drop in the PCM.
For me, I had to take the car apart to get the injectors in that you have stock.
I'd do it, it's a totally different car once your done.

i have a turbolite and run it on supreme.
i found that i have better mpg than when i run regular.
not 17 mpg more but there's really a difference.

Funny you mention that. I have a 2004 turbo lite and have been runnung premuim in it for the last two months and I have noticed an increast of 2 to 4 miles per gallon...
