Stage 1 question
If I turbocharged my n/a pt, could i put stage 1 on it, or is it only for factory turbo pts?

Only for factory. Hahn has both a stage 1 and stage 2 upgrade.

From everything I've read it would not be cost effective to turbocharge your n/a PT. The expense is great and there are potential problems. IMHO, for the money spent, you would be much better off selling your n/a PT and buying a new or used GT turbo car. The GT really has all the power one needs, however, STAGE 1 is "frosting on the cake".

GT's cost around 19 grand, right? If I traded mine in, i would get around 10 grand for it. Thats $9000 instead of turbocharging it for $3000. Sounds like the turbocharger is a better idea, unless im missing something

It's sort of like remodeling a home. [:0] Be prepared for unexpected problems/issues and 20 to 80 percent more than the estimated budget [B)] given to you by your contractor. It's your call--good luck.

yeah i dont think its gonna happen anyway. Ill just have to live with a non-fast car for awhile

The GT has a lot more going for it than just a turbo. The internals are stronger and can handle more boost. I know of two people that have added a turbo to their N/A and they now wish they had gone with a GT.
