Now you've done it! Why bring that flat-backed, sooped up, looks like a redded headed toyota orphan step child, srt-4 into the conversation.

I mean seriously now, 98% of the time you are rollin at or below the speed limit. Speed is VEERY NICE, but being seen in the PT all shined up just can't be beat[^]

Like mine!!

So, have you ordered Stage 1 yet??? Have you ordered your motor mounts yet???? I've seen your car (try to) hook up, and S1 without the mounts won't be pretty. What say Nov. 13 you and me, grudge on run 1? You know everybody has their best runs when they go up against me!

I thought this topic was about Stage II and whether anyone had the cognitive ability to actually ask about it at the BP ,because, I do not see any posts that reflect that. [:I] Well?

Because that flat-backed, sooped up, looks like a redded headed toyota orphan step child srt-4 is a kick ass machine. If my wife didn't have her heart set on a Mini or a Mini convertible I'd get an srt-4 in a second to compliment my GT [?]

I ordered Stage 1, BoV, set of new Mopar Ignition wires, 4 new stock plugs (will be gapped at 0.45) from Tommy. In addition, I have to wait 2 weeks for Psi-Fi to get in their new re-designed motor mounts. Hopefully, I will have the mounts in before November 13th (Robert is going to help me install those mounts). If I don't have the mounts, than I'm pretty much stuck at 2.4 sec 60's.

As for Stage 2, I guess I have to wait.......... (Okay DCX you won, I gave in and bought Stage 1 [B)])

5-Speed manuals work a little differently than 41TE's. It's much easier to get off the line with an auto GT. I get creamed on the line against auto GTs (they run 2.2 secs consistently).

I've gotten 2.35 60' foot with an error code flashing for a brief second (could be the knock sensor going off), but that was some serious wheel hop (was quite violent []). Can 2.2 secs be achieved with the stock mounts? YES, but I will most likely snap a motor mount or axle for the 5-Speed (Gary C has gotten close to this time and reported serious wheel hop). IMO, 2.4 secs is the safest 60' for 5-Speed manuals to take off with little or no wheel hop (roughly 1500 RPMs)on stock mounts.

Most FWD manual cars I've seen Hondas, Toyotas, Nissan etc. have 2.4 s 60' launches on stock mounts to avoid or minimize wheelhop.

With the new motor mounts and bolts, I should be able to get 2.2sec 60's with minmum wheel hop.
