Yes you can go from stock to Stage 2. Stage 2 is a PCM and new injectors.

However, Stage 2 has not been released for the PT GT's yet.

Yes you can go from stock to Stage 2.
In fact, if you buy Stage 1 first, then upgrade to Stage 2, all the money you spent on the Stage 1 kit and installation will be lost. That is, all the stock parts you replace with Stage 1 will be replaced again with a Stage 2 kit, and then some.

The wait and uncertainty of Stage 2 is good enough to make anyone buy Stage 1 first [:0].

I'm new here, but I've been browsing for a while.

It just seems to me that buying any stage is a chance since you can only get it from Chrysler and they don't back it.
I'm used to having Fords, and if you buy something from Ford Racing, it's warrentied. Sure, you may pay more compared to buying it from an outside vender, but getting it serviced at your local dealer is a great option.

I love the fact that Chrysler is making more power available. So for now, I'm planning on getting an intake. This way, I can save up for stage 2. Hopefully it will be out by early next year. Then, I'll only have 2 mods on the car in case I need dealer work. Also, it should be pretty easy to sell an aftermarket intake should I decide to get rid of the car. I'll take the loss on stage 2

Unfortunately, Chrysler/Dodge haven't quite figured out the obvious trend of aftermarket items. I should have thought about this aspect of purchasing a car (aftermarket support), but its a fast learning experience [B)].

Free Tip to DCX: Since majority of the PT buyers are an older generation, they wouldn't be using the Mopar Performance parts to its full extent, would make sense to warranty Mopar Performance parts and sell it to them, yes? Second, even if a younger generation PT buer were to purchase Mopar Performance products, they come from a differnt breed of people that don't drive their PT's like STI's or Evo's. From my standpoint, DCX/Mopar can just gain from this benefit versus other car companies that have to deal with kids and suped up car with aftermarket toys (Toyota, Honda, Mitusbishi, and all the popular pocket rocket companies).

That outlook holds allot of water in the case of the PT, but not in the case of Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep overall.

I mean, they make some of the clas leaders in performance right now. SRT4,6,8 and 10 are top dogs in there respective class from a sheer performance standpoint.
So weather you want a boy racer to mod, or a huge truck to kick but with a Viper engine in it, these people have something for you.

Sure the PT is primarily an olders person's ride, but with the introduction of the turbo models, people are looking at it who normally would look at sedans with v6 engines.
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that it works out great if you don't want a minivan, but you need the room and utility because of kid(s). It looks great, and is useful as well as a value pricewise. On top of that, it has power and potential to push 300hp. I would say that's like having your cake and eating it to[?]
