Default Officially in the club now.

Gang,

I'm in. Feel free to welcome me to the club. Just finished my Stage 1 quicklearn. The only problem I'm really having now is removing this smile from my face.

Thanks for all the advice on how to do the install. It took about 1 hour with a small break. Dropped wrenches in the engine, missing socket piece, and an angry wife were the only real problems I experienced with the install. Nobody told me about the angry wife, btw.

Looking for ideas as to where to put the Stage 1 badge. I want it on the interior (trying to remain a sleeper). If I was to put it next to the pt cruiser emblem on the passenger side airbag, I'm afraid it would become a dangerous airborne object if the bags went off.

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the club. I recently became a member on Sunday, after picking up S1 at the Block Party. I'm still smiling too

Welcome to the stage 1 club. My GT has 33,000 miles on it now, 21,000 miles with stage 1. Still loving it. I have the VAK upper charge pipe and it really compliments stage 1 as it really holds boost longer. I took the badges off of the doors and tailgate. I then put the stage 1 badge on the tailgate bottom right hand corner. Most people don't even know what that means. Even my club members didn't know I had a turbo until one day they tried to keep up with me on the freeway....Angry wives show up at the worst times. When we are working on our cars or watching the game they should just bring us our beer and sandwiches and be a good little wife. OOOPPPS! Gotta go. I hear the wife coming

I agree with you that putting the STAGE 1 badge on the passenger's airbag would not be a good idea. Here's a picture of where I positioned it in front of the Autostick shifter. This worked for me. Good luck.

I placed mine in my engine bay, so when people are checking that part out, they realize what I have

Mine is sitting on a shelf in my office at home, still safe and secure in its little plastic bag. My car doesn't have a badge on it, but it does have a third brake lite insert that reads "Turbo Charged"

when the passenger side airbag goes off the plastic panel folds down from the top will not make the badge airborn, btw i still have an extra badge as my car is all smashed up
