After waiting and hoping for S2 for 1 year, I finally got smart and ordered and recieved my S1 today. I will be installing it this coming Sunday. In preparation for S1, I have installed $20 catch can, Boost gauge, Mopar BOV, KN air filter, and will be putting in 1 heat range cooler NGK plugs. I am really excited !
One Question: Part # for my 03 GT manual is P5007943 which is on the order form, but the PCM # is 1-P4510056AE. How do I know if the PCM # is correct for my 03 manual GT. There are no cross reference # I can check to verify the PCM # is indeed correct for 03 manual GT. Please someone let me know. Thanks, |

Thanks! Since your S1# for 03 auto is P5007944 and the PCM # P4510057AD, mine is probably right but for example, if they shipped you PCM# same as mine, you will not know if it was for 03 auto or manual or even 04 pcm. Do other 03 manual S1 have same PCM # 1-p4510056AE as mine? And thanks for a warm welcome. I will let you all know how it feels after the install. My only problem now is .... do i get AGP WGA or Hurst STS for my next mod. [?]

I wouldn't worry too much about the P/N. It's quite obvious when your Stage 1 for a 5-Speed manual isn't working.

I believe there are tow part numbers that can be on the package. Some one may have to confirm this. The P5007943 may be for the computer itself, the hardware. The 1-P4510056AE number may be the software number that is loaded into the hardware. I know this is true for the normal cars that I work on when I have to put in computer for some reason or if I have to flash them to keep them updated.

Good to go on S1! Hopefully you see better gains than we did. Of course, thats the problem with pre-set tuning, altitude is usually not factored in. We run SO rich with S1 its not even funny. BTG CAI, Mopar catback, S1...we are still in the 15s. Altitude sucks.
[/personal rant] sorry about that...have fun with the S1!
