Default How Much for Installation?

My dealer gave me a decent price on a Stage I, $365, '03 GT autostick, but no one seemed to know or be able to give me a quote on the install. How much on average would a dealer charge?

My dealer charged me $160 and with my 10% club discount it was $144. You might want to check around. Any trusted mechanic could install the injectors which is the hardest thing about the install. Installing the pcm is easy. Don't forget to do the auto tranny learn.

Dealers do very little of these, thus the blank look by them.
I think they could crank it out in 2 hours, you could do it in 4. That's for the install, then about an hour on the road to do the "Quick Learn".

Thanks. I forgot to mention that the dealer also told me he could get a Stage II. He had a part number, but not a price.

That's funny because I have a part # but no price, too, not that we can get stage 2 anyways [xx(]

If your dealer can actually get Stage II in stock (physically, holding in his hand, picture of SII kit with todays newspaper in the background, etc.), then you're dealer will be the most popular dealer on this forum! There are alot of people, including myself, who would be very interested in purchasing one.

If you have a trusted friend that does any car work, he can do it.. I was going to do until a friend said he would help.. ended up doing the whole thing.. Injector are the "hard" part, but if you ever did any of the up-grades of old school, cams, heads, headers, its really easy... I must say never so the whole bleeding of the antifreeze thing before.. never did that in the old days...as far as Stage 2???

I'll do it for $45 bucks. But, that's on the side. So charging a regular customer we would charge about $164 at the top end plus tax.

It should noy be much more than swapping injectors. That's what you have to do anyway. So they should be able to look that up if someone had a bad injector.
Then you remove & reinstall the ECU. now thats not too hard to figure out is it...

Before you buy any MOPAR product ask tommy first.. he will probly get you a better price..

I dont want to thread jack but .. anyone looking at any upgrade look at the $$ per HP increase..

stage one. price installed.. $$$$$ HP increase..??

VAK system HP increase between 25-30HP to the wheels dyno and track proven.. $way cheaper than any other upgrade HP to $$ wise..
