Sick Autotanny
Began to notice a whine in the trans between 30 and 40 MPH under normal acceleration. Have Stage I in a box ready to install so figured I better get the tranny checked first. DCX 5-star diagnosed (without tearing it down) as planetary gear and has ordered part(s).
Anybody else experienced this problem? THEN......found chrome coming off one of the wheels on my 03 Dreamcruiser. DCX also ordered a replacement. All of this under warranty, but chrome pealing off? Come on!! I wash this car by hand so I know it has not been exposed to harsh cleners....... [:I][:I]
