Why don't you just order the AGP Billet adj. WGA from Tommy Thrift for $170 + shipping?

My wife's auto tranny in her '01 PT went out at 80,000 miles. With the auto tranny it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. If you're planning on keeping your GT for a while I'd talk to Tommy Thrift about the upgraded auto tranny he's involved with.

does the S2 wga fit? AGP had to reshape the bracket to get the actuator to fit the Cruiser. If they just bolted up, we could ahve just used the one from the SRTs

It's not that the stronger spring in the waste-gate makes more power...it's the fact that the stronger spring allows you to maintain the increased boost at a higher RPM (therefore a longer period of time). Even your stock WGA will allow you to spike at 18-19 lbs boost with the addition of a MBC. The most strain on your auto tranny will either be at launch when you double your torque through your torque-converter or at your engines peak torque point. Not at the higher RPM an aftermarket WGA allows you to boost at. The auto MFG.'s rate their trannies strength capacities by torque ratings not HP ratings.
