Ok so I guess everyone is into hopping up their car but has never taken them to the strip. Ok, well if my S1 comes this week I'll try and make it out to the strip this weekend and post some numbers for everybody.[:I]

Thanks anyways,

Mark

Ok, yesterday I went to Bandimere speedway here in denver. Take note we are at 5,280 ft. which makes a diff with thin air. So far the only mods the car has CAI and single 3" catback w/flowmaster. Best run with no seats was a 15.3 Pretty good numbers for stock. Stock mustang GT and Z-28 were running the same times. I also ran the same time as a 2004 6 speed GTO w/ 350 HP. Im sure after S1 and a few other mods I should be in mid to low 14's. Also there were a few srt-4s the ones w/mods were running in the low to mid 14's. One guy with a stock srt-4 said the best he could pull was a 15.1 Also 1 guy had a Rsx with a turbo and had a best time of 14.9

I was pretty happy with the PT's numbers.[?]

Question. What are the intake silincer's?
There are 3 of them. One is the white doughnut in the top of the airbox. The second is the one at the bottom of the airbox going over to the fenderwell hole. The 3rd is in the turbo up to the airbox hose. The doughnut is easy to remove. The one at the bottom of the airbox you can make a mark that is flush with the inside of the airbox. There are 2 tabs on the outside of the airbox on the snorkle that you pry up to remove the whole silencer. Once removed you can cut off the part of the silencer inside the airbox with a hacksaw. Then pop the snorkle back into the airbox. Now that silencer is gone and you still have the snorkle drawing cold air in from the fenderwell hole. The turbo up hose to the airbox needs to be replaced. You can make one or if you want to spend the money you can buy one.
