Default Stage 1 do's and dont's

I am going to be ordering a Stage 1 kit within the next 2 weeks. I have read as much as I could on the forum about what else to adjust, regap, add and not buy. So I want to make sure I understand exactly what I am supposed to do when I get theis puppy..........here goes, and please correct me if I am wrong:
-install stage 1
-regap stock plugs to around .041
-pick up a better set of wires (magnacore)
Is this it? is there more?
I already have a Borla/Chrysler dual exhaust and a K&N drop in filter. I understand that a cold air intake system would work better than the drop in K&N, add this to the list or not?
Thanks, ValAir

Actually, the drop in K&N isn't bad at all. The open air filters probably flow better (good) but they are typically taking in hotter air (bad). Replace the airbox to turbo air pipe with one that doesn't have the restriction of the stock air pipe, add a solid intercooler up pipe and you should be in business. The factory intercooler up pipe expands under pressure (bad).

Thanks MichaelDay,
The kit will be ordered next week after memorial day.
Any other info would be great.

When repacing the PCM on cars with auto trans, there is a relearn procedure, too. Just do a search. Also, from the feedback from members here, a towel to wipe that silly grin off might be a good idea
