Default mopar stage 1 email

Thought you all would enjoy [:0] this answer as much as I.

I sent mopar an email concerning the stage 1 release for the 2005 PT. I basically told them I was a new DC owner and that I bought the PT for its look and ease of mods. Also let them know how concerned I was that they are getting a bad reputation for not producing what was earlier promised. Here was my answer!

Thank you for submitting a question to Mopar. Unfortunately, due to the volume of emails we receive, we may not be able to answer your question directly.

[xx(] So many thoughts came to mind that I decided I would share this frustrating response with all of you before I took drastic action. [xx(]

Youve got better luck getting a personal letter from George W than DC!

That response is sent automatically by the DC autoresponder attached the the email address.

It is not sent by a person.

Cheers,

Joe

Dear Purple,

Welcome to the world of PT frustration. Just to set your mind at ease...you'l never get a response even if you wait a million years. You purchased the wrong kind of Chrysler product. If you wanted help from Mopar you should have bought the SRT4. Mopar and Chrysler care about the SRT4 and the Hemi virants of their other models, they don't care about you or your Cruiser.
We had a engineer named 3BarBoost that used to talk to us and frequent this site, he was gaged by Chrysler and left us with the impression that if he kept helping us he would lose his job. Now on the other hand there is a Chrysler/Mopar rep that frequents the SRT4 site and answers thier questions...however if you ask a PT question you get no answer at all.
Gina used to be a gal high up in the Mopar ranks and used to communicate a few times but even she refused to return to our sites after a period of time.
So bottom line is if you want performance or what to talk to someone who cares you need to stick with your fellow PT enthusiasts on this and other PT sites. NOBODY else is going to help you.
Now...if you really, really, really still want S1...you need to sell your 05 and get a 03 or 04

The bairer of bad news: Deen
