Default Stage 1 warranty voided?

I have a question about Stage 1 kits. Will putting a Stage 1 kit on my GT void the warranty??? One dealership has told me no and another has said that it will. I need a real genuine answer before I buy this badboy.
thanks![:0]

Check out the magneson moss act that was passed. It states that if you can PROVE that the parts added to your car caused a failure then it's not under warranty, but if you lower your car and the electric seat button falls off, it's still under warranty. Don't let any chrysler dealership get away with saying your warranty will be voided. You'll find lots of places that just flat out won't work on the car with S1 though so watch out for those guys

The burden of "proof" is the responsibility of the dealership, not the individual owner. Your dealer must prove "S1" caused "failure" for your warranty to be voided.

My dealer said S1 will not void my warranty. The only problem would be if S1 directly caused a problem. They have been true to their word as they have done warranty work with no problem and I am beyond S1.

Just remember that each dealer has a lot of leeway and you need to find one that will try and work with you and your unique situation. Yes, I think legally you will be on good firm ground if your stage one does not cause the problem but why invite a hassle when you probably can find a dealer more sympathetic with your needs to install performance parts made my DC?

If you can't get satisfaction at dealer "A", go to dealer "B".[]

This is true for Stage 1, Stage 0 or Stage 4F.

The newest twist to my Stage 1 dilema is that Chrysler will have my vin. number and mileage. How has everyone gotten around that???[:I]

My local dealership has no problem with me having the S1 on my car. But once the service manager (whom I know) found out that my vin number will be registerd with Chrysler........he kind of cringed.

I don't want to mess up my 7/70 warranty on the engine and driveline. And since my vin. will be on record, how is one to get around this? Should I go get a vin off a wrecked GT? hmmmmmmm.
