Default OIL Viscosity

Need some advice on oil weight. I will be using Mobil 1 Oil soon since my GT has 2k on it. I live in Las Vegas and temps often hover around 110-115 in the summer. I guess this will be opinionated but should I run 5/30, 10/30 or something heavier. Any advice on this will be appreciated..

I'm happy with Amsoil synthetics. You might want to check out comparisons at: http://www.amsoil.com/performancetests/g1971/index.aspx
and http://www.amsoil.com/performancetes...vs_mobil1.aspx

Amsoil is supposed to handle the heat a lot better than most other oils without compromising your lubrication.

Just passin' it on.

I agree. And the Mobil 1 can handle the heat.
And Welcome.
