BDD,
Yeah my tips were going to be about that much with the resonators. Total would have still been under 200.

I had a flowmaster 40 series muffler and stainless tip put on for $136. I wouldn't replace the pipes unless you really feel the need to. Are you doing a muffler and resonater or just resonator?

I was hoping to go without a muffler and adding resonator tips.

Without the muffler gives it a nice roar[?] even though my neighbors kid me and say they can hear me when I first come into the neighborhood (2 miles away)!

Plus less resistance and better flow.
