Hi Steve
Your problem is that there is no switch to turn on. Cruisers with factory installed fog lamps have a different signal-headlamp switch then Cruisers without fog lamps. You will need to find the wire coming from the front of the car that does the foglamps and wire it to a switch or replace the signal-headlamp switch with one that has the foglamp function. I'm not sure if the wiring that you found goes all the way to the steering column but it is likely. Be careful not to poke around the Airbag wiring. Deploying the airbag by mistake would ruin your day.

Hi,

We have a 2002 base model that didn't come factory with the fog lamps.

I was able to get a multifunction switch off of ebay (stock turn signal switch with the fog light switch built in), and a set of used fog lights from ebay also....

Anyways....I have all the wiring details....and can walk ya thru it. You can use an aftermarket switch to run them, no need for the stock switch. I can even tell ya how to wire it up so the aftermarket switch will turn on the green dash lite indicating the fogs are on.

Let me know if you need info.....Dalec74@commspeed.net
